Settle in on our waterfront patio and enjoy a warm, handheld pastry cone (choose PEI lobster, chicken, or shrimp) plus any drink from our menu—like a slushie margarita or strawberry daiquiri (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), local BIG craft beer, cocktails, mocktails, and more. While you dine, slip on a lightweight "mixed reality" headset and experience three short “time-warp” scenes—all without leaving your seat. Optional strawberry shortcake cone or cheesecake dessert upgrade!

3) Dragon Over the Lounge — watch a dragon circle the Port and breathe fire. Don’t get too close!
4) Confederation Moment — in an 1800s colonial home to witness the speech that helped form Canada

Meet us at the Lobster Trap Lounge beside the big red maple leaf at Port Charlottetown. Our friendly team will provide your cone, your drink, and your headset.

About the Headset
A QUICK LOOK AT WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE
The Meta Quest is lightweight, wireless, glasses-friendly, and goes on and off in seconds. High-clarity passthrough keeps you aware of your surroundings, so moving around feels natural.
Your host will give simple cues and tips, making it easy to relax and focus on the flavours while we bring the wow.
Unlike Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality let's you see all of the real world around you, but simply introduces an imaginary world on top of it. Much better for those who are motion sensitive.
